Quiet Zone Technologies (QZT) has extensive experience working with communities across the country considering creating Quiet Zones.  Our staff has worked closely with various Class I railroads and government agencies to help communities conform to the requirements established under the Federal Railroad Administration's Final Rule on Use of Locomotive Horns at Highway-Rail Grade Crossings. QZT is the only company licensed to sell the AHS™ wayside horn system. The Automated Horn System™ was patented and developed from the ground up by Railroad Controls Limited.
